Councillor Richard Footitt (Chairman)
My wife and I have owned our home in South Perrott since 2015 and have always been keen to support the many and varied activities of the community. We finally became permanent residents here in January 2021 when I had retired.
I have spent my working life in university and secondary education and have a wealth of experience to bring to the Parish Council.
I am keen to ensure that our village is not only a great place to live but is attractive to others wanting to live here and has amenities that are well looked after and that can be enjoyed by all.

Councillor Robin Ketteridge (Vice-Chairman)
I came to the Village in 2006, buying ‘Broadley Cottage’, now renamed the Old School. I was educated in London (Comprehensive schools and then Oxford) but had my heart in the country and our family and friends all enjoy the Village community and its activities (which we try our best to attend en masse). I have worked in various political and business roles but all underscored by a belief in equality, improving opportunities and with a constant awareness of our impacts on our planet and local environment. Here to support our Community, and my fellow Councillors in their aim to use their roles to make a difference. I am, hopefully, not as scary as my picture.

Councillor Martyn Gillingham
I am a retired Chartered Surveyor with thirty-nine years experience of working both in Local Government and the private sector in Hertfordshire and Essex.
I was born in Sherborne but grew up in Exeter, and it was always a desire to move back to the West Country on retirement.
I took early retirement in 2010, when we moved to South Perrott, and have been actively involved in village life ever since.
There is a great community spirit in South Perrott, and I hope to work with my fellow Councillors to overcome the challenges faced by our small community in an ever-changing world.
